The
Station (sometimes known as The Station Hotel) was built in 1859. In May
2004 Mike Jones became the new landlord (there were a few
landlords in between).
As a vastly
experienced chef Mike has made an immediate impression with a completely new
menu that focuses on taste, and dare we say it new taste ... Advocado, mozarello,
tomato, rocket and pesto salad we found actually "zings" in
the mouth. Fish,
and locally caught fish, of course features, invariably a veggie dish on
them menu, stunning special menus for Christmas ... despite all this change like the
board says "Same Old Beer".
