The
Levellers at the Cambridge Folk Festival last month prompted us to
recall doing the bar at one of their "secret" gigs last
year. 350 people packed into Rougham village hall and
for three and half hours The
Brewer, NaTCH, and Lucy
didn't have time to fart or sneeze. Despite a mercy dash by The
Brewer to
Neil's new pub for three more barrels of beer the bar was drunk
dry ... we went home with a bottle of coke and half a bottle of
wine. The pic shows the last pint in the hall being held
out of the reach of the owner's neighbour.

To
save Matt's
musician's hands ... or perhaps his musician's back ... anyway his
musician's something ESB now has a fork lift for unloading
lorries. Though The
Brewer is a member of
the Morris Commercial Owners Club it's not clear whether he'll be
joining the Hyster
Owners Club.
